Are you running an anti-malware program on your PC? If not you could be subject to programs that could slow your computer down and may compromise your personal information. There are many free programs like Malware bytes, Ad-aware, Spybot Search and Destroy. These programs will search your whole hard drive and remove programs that have been downloaded by your web browser. It won't hurt your PC to run several of these programs installed at the same time.
